COVID-19 update
To Our Valued Customers:
Ted’s Bakery, Inc. is closely monitoring the rapid developments of the COVID-19 outbreak. We want to assure you that our company is adhering to the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).
The safety of our customers, employees, and the community remain our top priority. Some of the measures we have taken:
1. Communicating our sick policy that requires employees who are sick to refrain from reporting to work. Staff who show symptoms are asked to leave work until they are well and seek medical attention.
2. Reviewing and ensuring that our employees are implementing our existing food and safety procedures, for example: frequent proper handwashing, proper glove use, sanitation procedures for our production areas, etc.
3. We are asking all employees who have traveled by aircraft to self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to on site work and to enforce our work-remote policy.
4. We are increasing our daily health and food safety procedures, such as more frequent handwashing, sanitizing of frequently touched common areas like door knobs, counters, registers, etc.
